The Tesco competition I entered for as soon as I entered the above code 3100 the page disaapeared. Please help me stop this rough company that wanted to be billing my phone number with 4.50p per week.
I receive a text to my Google Voice number stating my verification number is ******. I believe the scammer tries to get a reply from you, and when you ask why you received this message, the scammer preys on the fact that you believe they are Google and will provide them with actually email account information for your own security. The solution would be to just ignore/block the number. See the link below for a user that was tricked.
I received the same message as Jimmy. I have sent them an email to cancel the charge and will pursue this further if they do not cancel the charge and cease contacting me.
how can it be stopped
Suddenly got this text.
Haven't done anything about it
Welcome to the Marketplace! Reply help for help Stop to cancel.
Bombarded by these companies, how do you stop them! Arggghhh! Help somebody please....
Just make it stop. They totally ignore "do not send text messages".

I claim these are legit texts from CapitalOne credit card.
I claim these are legit texts from American Express credit card.
I claim these are legit texts from Hertz rental car. I get them whenever I rent from Hertz.
I get confirmations of Dentist Appts from my dentist. My phone also pops up a message saying that I may incur charges for replying. I don't reply and they just call to confirm a few days prior to the appointment. Texting STOP did result in me getting a messaging saying that I will no longer receive messages from Lighthouse 360 reminders.
I m simple
I received the following message: XXXXX is your verification code for (my e-mail address)
When I replied STOP, I received this message: "This message confirms you have discontinued this service and you will no longer receive messages....."
keep stealing my credit
Says that it's a reminder in the partial preview. Turns out to be spam upon opening each time. Didn't try the "STOP" return text. Just quit opening them.
Still texting me and trying to steal my credit
Received message consisting of the following
Phoned 02035981581 and tore the company ( Global Awareness) off a strip. they say it is a banner on a web page which you need to click on and agree terms and conditions, this is utter rubbish as the only time this has been done on my phone was for the EE App and NOT for Global Awareness. They have taken me off the list and are refunding the charges. As stated by others THIS IS FRAUD and the company should be reported accordingly
I am really annoyed as it has charged me a very large amount and text me 3 times every wednesday
Seems like dating scam
