Funny thing is... I don't bank or have any cards through Chase.
I chose them over a legitimate student loan forgiveness plan because an honest administrator error occurred. In the process I lost $150 to them before realizing they were a scam.

It's from Andrea Kent who I met on dating site( probably a scammer ) And just said " Hi how are you doing, It's me Andrea Kent" I replied back "dont text me voice calls only." because that weeds out the scammers. They cant call because they aren't a woman!
Keep getting text messages that is in Spanish saying - !!felicidades nextel te informa que eres ganador de $45,000 dolares y un Vehiculo 4x4 llama ya al 01150246386397. I just replied STOP and hoping it works. I'm positive it's a scam, I just hope that I didn't do something wrong by opening the text.
I've since discovered it was in connection to an 'iPad' con, STOP to 85222 seemed to do the job but also sent SMS to 88888 quoting STOP ALL. Hopefully this will end any premium slips in the future. Least my mother is calm again. Still I can't believe that these scandalous things continue to slip through the net.
Just had my 2nd and 3rd messages today so started to look into this... I have been charged for 2 SMS already at £1.50 each... Going to head into 3 tomorrow and blow up! Really not convinced replying will have any effect :-(

I am still getting texts weekly from Makro
Only just spotted this myself after about 4 months! I wasn't getting any text messages, just the money out of my account. Have sent STOP & got a message to say I'm unsucscribed. Have made a complaint via Phonepayplus. They have taken about £60 from me so far. Await to see if I get any refund and if the billing stops. My provider has also put a block on premium rate texts for me, which may also help.
Maybe none of you have realised that the texts are from Twitter, and are notifications that you can turn off in your settings on Twitter under the sub-menu Mobile. They are related to TW accounts that you are following or follow you.
Have gotten a few of these since Feb, never had any charges actually show up on my account so just blacklisted the number on my SMS app to make them disappear. Will monitor the situation but looks like at least one carrier has taken action to prevent them stealing money from unsuspecting people!
Unsollicited BMW ad
