i call B.S. on your defense of the cell carriers- I had my phone for less than a month, and hadn't deleted any texts. I don't text much and had never even opened or looked at the text they sent me 2 Jan. By 19 Jan it's showing up on the bill as if I had 'signed up' for their 'service'. I can assure you I never signed up for or agreed to any service or fees. I just now called Verizon and got them to remove the charges and block this. This is apparently an auto-in, you have to opt out 'service'. That to me is a scam- Verizon should require that they use an affirmative opt-in, or else block them completely (not all premium texts, but targeted by service). NO legitimate service operates in this fashion.
