What is this for
Yes, I just was charged through Verizon for this service that I never requested nor received! What a con!!
I started seeing charges for this code pop up on the bill for one of the phones in my plan. Phone user never signed up for it - I've been charged $9.99 for a couple of months for nothing!
do you really think they read these messages??? Why not go on their website or call them where it might do some good!! or call them at 1==866=-395,-2310
I have been charged $10.per month for the past 7 months for weather information on my cell phone that I never signed up for. Somehow the company got my cell number and started sending texts that i could get weather info for any zip code. I attempted to block the texts, but didn't know how. Finally today, after seeing the charges on my Verizon bill, I called Verizon and the rep told me how to get the texts to stop. Reply STOP - thats it, nothing else. You will automatically get a response text that you have been unsubscribed to this feature (that you never signed up for!). Verizon was unwilling to remove the charges.
The text said a number then a password and online access.
thank you. Never asked for it and got charged $10. from T mobile
Sent STOP to the number twice. Did not receive a reply and the charge is still on my bill.
They did the same to me I called 1-*866--395-+2310 they fixed me up and refunded my dough
All of a sudden starting getting charged $9.99 on my T-Mobile phone bill under PREMIUM SERVICE for Weather Alerts by Openmarket. Called T-Mobile and after initially claiming that I had signed up and was therefore responsible for these charges they said they would, as a one time courtesy, refund the charge for the current month, but not the one for the previous month (which is all I knew about when I called them). Long story short they said they would refund all charges. Person I spoke with didn't know what a cramming block was but tried to sell me a "protection service" for $4.99 a month to "prevent" this kind of abuse. (So we'll steal money from you but if you don't want that just pay us a small amount every month and then we won't steal from you! Where have I heard that before?).
Call
I've been repeatedly charged $9.99 for Weather Alerts for MONTHS and NEVER SIGNED UP!
