I just replied to 654-654 with the word STOP and immediately got a text message back saying "Sorry to see you go!". Hopefully this goes away.

I called Verizon they told me that they can blocked Premium Text Messages on my cell phone. I would recommend that anyone who does not want this do that.

I don't know how to stop getting messages from this Predicto at 654654 Every week now. Am not interested at all in their whatever the have to offer.

I got my US Cellular phone bill with a charge for 9.99 from 654654. I ended up calling US cellular who blocked all spam/texts that charge.

My wife got spammed and I got the charged $9.99 on my Sprint bill with a line item that says Predicto.

Can someone tell me what I need to do here?

Hi Ali, I don't use sprint, but after a long toime on hold customer support at tmobile told me that I should reply "stop". they also took the charges off my phone. seems that this was on the bill for months and months. this was a real pain to deal with. hope it stops and hope this helps your situation with sprint as well.

This sounds like the next round of scams against America. The cell phone companies have allowed outside vendors (these short code companies) to bill phone numbers supposedly based on a double-op-in agreement. What that means is customers need to send a message to opt-in, then the provider sends a text back for confirmation with a code, then the customer has to input the code in another message.

These short code companies are signing up phone number fraudulently, and billing them every month without permission. My wife has gotten 3 of them since December, including 654654 on Jan 18 and they (contact: 800-360-0518) said they would email proof of the opt-in. There is absolutely a 0% chance that we did this.
