We've been charged since April 2010 (now August). Wife didn't know what it was and since we never use text messaging except to get 2-3 messages from our kids, we didn't pay attention. Verizon credited 2 months back when called customer service and applied a free "block" to "premium messaging." They said a second billing from a 910-97 started the same time.

My sons phone was spammed from these guys in MAY 2010. I remember texting stop to it several times over a 2 day period. They finally stopped. We were charged $19.99 for a premium service. Unfortunately I did catch it in time to get it removed

My employee's company phone just randomly started getting messages. I have tried STOP, QUIT, CANCEL.... and nothing has worked yet. Next step is to contact my carrier.

I recently joined a dating site and I have just recieved a text to my profile name from a lady that wanted to start a text conversation, and to reply if i did, I was to text to 69999. I don't know if I'm being rude to somebody who genuinly wanted to get in touch, following several nice chats online, but i decided to check the net first and found this forum. I decided to ignore it as I'd probably be charged for sending STOP!

Numerous STOP texts-still on my bill

I received a text message from phone #514-418-0440 regarding and ad for a car for sale. I eventually texted back asking what car. Then I simultaneously received a text from the same number and from the 69999 number. The text from the 514 number indicated that I need to confirm that I am a human, then they gave me a 4 digit which I'm supposed to text back to them to confirm. The text from the 69999 reads: "PIN AT END OF MSG. Enter it to get ur 25 TONES now 10/credits/mo.$9.99/mo 8215 is your PIN." So it's obvious that these two nubmers are connected in whatever dirty business they're in. I'll call my carried to inform them. It appears that I will be charged $9.99 a month for something they deceitfully arranged. I'll ever again reply to some weird text message from an unknown number. Please
