I was on a website looking for an xbox 360. after clicking on the xbox offer a new window opened up that said I needed to enter a pin number from an SMS text message. Then I got a message from short code 72925 telling me "5585 is ur PIN. Enter online 2 get 25 credits now then 20 credits/mo from RingNRock. Rply HELP 4 help. Sub $9.99/mo+msg@data rates may aply.
I never asked for ringtones, and I am not going to pay anyone so I did not enter the code. will see if they still charge my phone. I am on AT&T.

I got two texts, identical to the one PoliceMan got (except for the PIN) within 4 minutes of each other, but I didn't enter my phone number anywhere...

I also got the same message, also didn't sign up for any ringtones, also on AT&T

Same as PoliceMan and another victim, with a different PIN. I am also on AT&T and I didn't enter my phone number anywhere.

got the same thing as everyone else. Obviously dont fill out the website as the site is completely bogus with no working links. sent an email to the provider of the domain notifying of this activity. I suggest you all do this as well.

I activated a prepaid T-mobile phone only days ago and have not given out the number at all. Yesterday a got a text message from 728-25. "RingNRock:U R sub 2 our monthly mobile credit club.Goto: RingNrock.com now.Sub $9.99/Mo Call 866-616-6076 or HELP 4Info STOP 2Quit email support@ringnrock.com"

Don't reply or expected charges of $9.99 on your phone bill. I think my spouse accidently hit reply and we got charges on out ATT bill. Was able to get refund for April but not March. Always review your phone statement for hidden charges which this text is SPAM SCAM!

Got text message from 27825 Ringnrock for monthtly payment of $9.99.Don't fall for it.

Don't even know how this happened...when I got my iPhone my cell bill went up... AT&T rep informed me that Ringnrock has been charging me $19.99 per month since before January...no record available before then to check just how long they've been stealing money from me. AT&T will only refund three months and Ringnrock doesn't respond to email or phone calls...
