same as everone else! a scam! i was taking as survey and the all of the sudden i get a text saying i am charges with 9.99 a month!!!

I had more than 1 Item listed on my phone. One of them was the ringtone scam. I called the phone number another of the people on here left which is 1-877-661-1136. It will ask you for your phone number if you want this to be over go ahead and enter you number. It gives you the option of canceling push 1 or to talk to rep. push 2. I wanted answers for sure so I did 2. They will remove it from your phone. She will tell you they cannot take it off your phone bill, but will give you a code to tell your service provider so that they can take it off. The lady even gave me at@t number thatI needed to call. I haven't called yet I hope it finishes like she said. I wanted to let everyone what to do ,if your like me I really had no ideal what was going on.

I just left another comment a few minutes ago on how to stop this mess. I called my provider they took it off my bill which by the amount was 19.99. So for me this is done never will I put my cell number in anything again.They wanted to know (this site) who all used this . I got a call in the middle of the night said unknown I don't answer those.Thats when they left the message Ihad won either so much in gas or wal-mart card. I also had ringtones unlimited.So if you get any of these do what I explained and it will be okay,as long as you don't make a habit of this. I believe there is a 3 mth limit on this to call your phone provider. It seems most of the charges are 19.99. Good luck to all of you hope your is as easy to deal with as mine was.

I was also a victim of this scam. I do not know how they received my information. I wasn't applying for a job, I don't get ring tones or have internet access to my cell phone, so I have no reason in God's green earth to pay $20/month for a service in this economy and lucky enough to have a job. I was able to cancel it with ATT and they went back and found it was charged in July, and credited me for that month too.

I was scamed dont know how. I filled my go phone to go on a weekend trip but i forgot to charge my phone the monday after we got back I tried to use my phone and found it not to have any minutes left to make a call. How can these people get away with this--Can we get our money back??????????????

I called my cell phone company as the number provided stated they were closed for the "public holiday." My cell phone company was able to put a block for "premium messaging" and cancel the memberships. My brother in law has the phone on our bill that was charged and is not good with computers or cell phones. NEVER enter your number in to play a game or look at a website! And if you do, read ALL terms and conditions. They will refund you if you continually email them telling them you did NOT authorize the charges. They can even refund to your paypal acct which is almost immediately received.

Blame the carriers, they know these companies are scammers, yet they allow them to place charges on your bill. That makes them just as bad, no they are worse. They breach the trust of the customer, in favor of unscrupulos scammers. For what? Nothing? I find it hard, no, I find it impossible to believe that the Carriers are getting nothing.
